舂车于公元333年～349年间由解飞和宫廷工匠魏猛变所造。是置于马车或其他畜力车上的碓，即由立轮轴上装凸轮式拨子，拨动舂杆，边行车边舂米。它与磨车原理结构相似。
Pounding machine was invented by Xie Fei and Wei Meng in the period from 333 to 349. It is a pestle fixed on carriages or other vehicles driven by animals. The pestle actually is a vertical axle with cam plectrum. It has the similar working principle with grinding machines, and can pound rice in travelling.
